Second edition of the “Nukleo” and “With Energy for Climate” knowledge competitions launched
The first, “Nukleo – National Nuclear Energy Knowledge Competition” is aimed at students with a special interest in science. The competition’s formula is similar to that of an Olympiad – after qualifying for the second stage, students solve tasks that thematically relate to physics, energy and nuclear engineering. Only 20 people are invited to the strict final, during which the participants prepare and present one selected topic concerning the peaceful use of nuclear energy and radioactivity.
The second, “With Energy for Climate – National Competition on the Knowledge of the Impact of Energy on the Environment”, is dedicated to all pupils in the 7th and 8th grades of primary schools, who are particularly interested in the subject of climate protection and counteracting climate change, e.g. through the use of clean energy sources, such as nuclear energy or renewable energy sources. Once they have qualified for the second stage of the competition, participants realise one of the four topics proposed by the Competition Committee in one form of their choice: an article for the local press, a film or a scientific poster. Only 20 people are also invited to the final round.
We encourage students to take part in the Competitions. Please do not delay your decision – only the first 300 people who complete the knowledge test (at Stage 1 of the Competition) and pass the qualifying threshold are invited to the next stage.
There are attractive prizes to be won!
