5th Economic Forum “Energy and Environment”
Mazovia Economic Service together with its Substantive Partners organised the 5th Economic Forum “Energy and Environment” on 7 December 2011 in the Palace of Culture and Science . The programme has been implemented for five years for the benefit of entrepreneurs, local government officials and companies and institutions from all over Poland, serving to promote them, establish business partnerships based on substantive knowledge.
The 5th Economic Forum “Energy and Environment” is a leading event for representatives of the energy industry, environmental protection and companies and institutions guided by the principle of corporate social responsibility and sustainable development. This year, the ATOM FORUM Foundation was also invited to participate in the Forum, as the only institution there representing the nuclear power industry.
The formula of the Forum provided for a ceremonial plenary session and 9 panel sessions, which were carefully planned for groups interested in a particular topic, allowing for an exchange of views in a professional group and establishing business contacts. Unfortunately, we regret that there was a lack of discussion on a topic as topical today as the development of nuclear power in the world and the construction of the first nuclear power plant in Poland. Nevertheless, our stand was visited by a large group of participants interested in this issue. All questions were answered by our representatives: Michał Chmielewski, Jakub Danecki, Łukasz Koszuk and Mariusz Łuszcz. A special article on the Foundation’s activities was published in the Energia i Środowisko magazine, which was received by all Forum participants.
We would like to thank the Organisers for the opportunity to present the activities and possibilities of our Foundation at the 5th Economic Forum.
